Gaurav Sakshi

Gaurav is a famous young Hindi poet/lyricist and artist of Kavi Sammelans, professionally known as Kavi Gaurav “Sakshi”. He was born in the small town Rajgarh (District Dhar) of Madhya Pradesh. His family members know about literature, and that is why he had an interest in literature since childhood. He started writing and performing at the age of 16, and his first performance was in his hometown itself, after which people started knowing him as a child artist.
Growth, Opportunity, Achievement
He completed his graduation in B.Sc and started doing a job, but he did not leave pursuing his passion of writing, and soon he became a famous poet of Hindi Kavi Sammelans. Formally, Gaurav Chauhan uses the suffix “Sakshi”, which is actually his wife’s name, and he added his wife’s name to his name with the thought that why should a woman always be known by her husband’s name. He considers himself very lucky because his family always supports him in his every ups and downs.

He is a great poet who attracts everyone’s attention. His poems are so delightful and heart touching that they fill the listeners with positivity, kindness and love. His poems include Shringar Rasa, Karun Rasa, Shant Rasa, Vatsalya Rasa and Hasya Rasa. Gaurav is known for his love poems, such as “But Ye Ek Decade Purani Hai” and “Do Kinare Ko Joda Nahin Ja Sakta”.

Apart from poems, he has also written songs like “Sirf Shambhu” and “Jo Sahaj Ho Gaya Ho What Ram Hai”, which have been well received by the people and their popularity is increasing. He has also written a water conservation anthem, i.e. “Bachao Bahao Na Jal” for Indore Municipal Corporation.

Apart from this, one of his books Kharaunch (Muktak Sangrah) has been published by Sansmay Prakashan Delhi.
He shared the stage with “Yug Kavi Dr. Kumar Vishwas”, Shri Bageshwar Dham Sarkar “Dhirendra Shastri”, famous actor politician “Ravikishan” and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma fame “Shailesh Lodha”.
